Cameron Shackell
Dr Cameron Shackell completed his undergraduate degree in Economics, his Master in Applied Linguistics, and his PhD in Semiotics and Information Technology. He is currently a Visiting Fellow at the Queensland University of Technology, and works in the private sector as CEO of GeneriTrend, a firm using AI to quantify aspects of trademarks such as genericness and confusion. His research interests include semiotics, computational persuasion, trademark surveillance, commercial naming, and the economics of intellectual property.
